PUP

When your grandmother calls your band a Pathetic Use of Potential, you know you are onto something special. A quick name change and PUP was born.  PUP's first album was self titled. The album is full of songs that ooze the uncomplicated raw energy of punk.

The four piece Toronto band has released, under their DIY label, three studio albums. 'The Dream is Over' was the band's follow up album and it expanded the band's fan base beyond Canada. 'Sleep in the Heat' is one of our favorite songs from the album.

PUP have done a lot of touring and festivals so it is not surprising that their first single from the second album was called 'If this tour doesn't kill you, I will'.

'Morbid Stuff' is PUP's third album and is the one we all love the most. 'Scorpion Hill', 'Sibling Rivalry' and 'Bloody Mary, Kate and Ashley' are some of the stand out songs on the album. 'Kids' was the first single from the album and it pulls no punches.

The band is touring to support 'Morbid Stuff'. Shows and tickets are available on the band's website.  If you find yourself at Coachella, they are on the RATG bill so check them out.
