The Blinders
The Blinders are an indie rock 3 piece band from Manchester in the UK. They have an EP, a studio album and a live album under their belt. In 2018 the band released their debut album 'Columbia'. The concept album follows the alternate reality of a fictional character called Johnny Dream. It is a very interesting album and the more you listen to it the more the layers that are hidden within each song are revealed. 'Brave New World' is the first single from the album.
'Gotta Get Through' is another song dripping with dystopian references crying out for a better world.
My favorite song on the album is the piano ballad 'Orbit'.
The Blinders are about to release their new album 'Fantasies of a Stay at Home Psychopath' on July 17th. 'Circle Song' is the first single from the album.
