Moses Sumney
Moses Sumney is treading his own path. It is a rare artist who rejects the offers from the major record companies, who were clamoring to sign him in favor of an independent label. As he said at the time, he felt the big companies were trying to shove him into a pigeon hole. To date he has released two albums, 'Aromanticism' and 'Grae'. Both albums showcase his immense talent.
In 2020, the Afropunk music festival went digital. One of the stand out performances without a doubt was Moses Sumney. The five set performance draws from songs from his first two albums.
