Big Thief
Big Thief are a folk rock band from Brooklyn, New York with four studio albums to their name. This is a band that has already received universal acclaim with several Grammy nominations along the way. 'Masterpiece' was their first album; it is jam packed with songs to love.
'Capacity' was the band's sophomore album and it let the world know that this was a band with immense talent and feeling for songs that resonate with both the crtics and fans in equal measure. 'Mary' is one of my favorite songs on the album.
Another standout album was their third studio release, 'U.F.O.F'. It is an album that charted around the world and made its way on several best album lists in the year it was released.
'Two Hands' was the band's next album and was released five months after U.FO.F. This band is like a fine wine, they just keep better. 'Not' was the first release from the album.
'Forgotten Eyes' is another great song from Two Hands.
Big Thief are scheduled to play several shows including a spot on the bill at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Check out the band's website for all the details.
