Goat Girl

Goat Girl is a band that I know very little about.  What I have heard so far makes me want more.  Goat Girl are a London based post-punk band with two albums that are very worthy of a listen.  This band has made waves in the UK but have yet to make an impact across the pond. 'Country Sleaze' was the first single from their debut self-titled album.

'Cracker Drool' was the next single from their first album and it, like the first single, grabs your attention. It is not surprising that Josh Gray from the Clash has described the songs on Goat Girl's debut album as wildflowers in landfill.

'On All Fours' was Goat Girls sophomore studio album. This showed that the creative energy within this band runs very deep. 'Sad Cowboy' was the first single from the album and it was clear from the outset that this is a band with a lot on their mind.

'The Crack' was the next single from the album and the video is out there.

'Badibada' is another great song from the album. This a band who are not afraid to tackle the big issues.

This band is made for our times so I have no doubt that when they get the chance to tour North America they will be ready to make a splash.  Keep an eye on the band's website for news and tours.
