G Flip
G Flip is a solo artist signed to the indie record label Future Classic. They are the first artist we are aware of that uses the pronoun 'they'. So out of respect to G Flip they it is. G Flip hails from Melbourne, Australia which just so happens to be the home of one of my favorite bands Press Club. I do not know what is going on down there in Melbourne but it must be something in the water because they like it hard and fast which is right up our alley. 'About You' is G Flip's one and only album to-date.'About you' was the first single that was released and it makes you sit up and take notice. It looks like it has been shot in their bedroom.
Their debut album has won a swag of awards in G Flip's home country. There is this raw honesty in the lyrics that just grab your attention. 'Killing My Time' was the second single for the album.
'Drink Too Much' was the fourth single from the album and it is a fantastic song with an interesting video
'Get Me Outta Here' is G Flip's latest offering. It, too, has an interesting video and features their current partner, Chrishell from the hit Netflix reality TV show 'Selling Sunset'.
G Flip is scheduled to do a show in West Hollywood and another in New York in June before heading back to Australia for a string of festivals. For all the G Flip news, tickets and shows keep an eye on their website.
