Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a trio of musicians that hail from New York City. Their art-rock vibe is a sound that gets under your skin and keeps you coming back for more. 'Fever to Tell' was the bands debut album and it broke the band around the world earning a Gold record certification in the US and UK and a nomination for Best New Alternative Music Album. Not bad for a band's first studio offering. 'Maps' was the third single from the album and it broke into the Billboard's Alternative Airplay Top 10.
The band's follow up album announced to the world this act were no flash in the pan with the album also being nominated for Billboard's Best Alternative Music Album. The third single 'Cheating Hearts' has a fun video which comprises fans from around the world imitating the band. Enjoy!
'Heads will Roll' is another great song from the band's third album 'It's Blitz!'. This offering swept the charts around the globe and confirmed to the world that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs were a band that had it all.
One of my favorite songs from their third album is 'Zero'. This song shouts to the world that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a band prepared to take risks and break new ground.
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs truly are a band to love. They have four albums to-date and are set to release their fifth album 'Cool It Down'. The first single from the album is 'Spitting Off the Edge of the World'.
