Yungblud
Yungblud is a UK singer, songwriter and musician with attitude. He is definitely an artist who demands our attention. Lyrically, he is not afraid to address the big issues. His first single 'Polygraph Eyes' from his self title EP Yungblud tackles sexual assault and consent head on.
I have to be honest. There are moments in his songs that I have no idea what he is saying. He is from the UK so I know he is singing in English. His accent for me is sometimes a challenge. His music and sound, however, is pure joy. His lyrics and the delivery of his songs scream for social justice. 'Loner' is no exception.
'11 minutes' is the song that charted around the world and has really put Yungblud on the world stage. The song is a collaboration with Halsey, his current girlfriend, and Blink-182's Travis Barker.
Everything Yungblud does, he does with attitude. 'Parents' was the follow up single to '11 minutes' and he doesn't disappoint.
