Waax breakout act
Waax is an Australian breakout act gaining an ever expanding fan base. The band's growing buzz is receiving indie radio support across America, Europe and in their homeland. This is no real surprise when you listen to their new release 'Labrador'. It is a song that gives a very big middle finger salute to a world obsessed with control. It cuts very deep.
Waax released their first EP 'Holy Sick' in 2015. The EP is full of caustic lyrics seething with anger. Definitely an EP to announce your arrival. We feel your pain.
Two years later Waax followed up with a 5 song EP titled 'Weak and Wild'. Our pick tune is 'This Everything' with 'Same Same' a close second.
Waax will be playing in March 2019 at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
