Coachella 2019 is fast approaching. Now is the time to think about the bands you should consider checking out. This year the spread of indie rock bands seems pretty thin on the ground. That being said it must be stated that it was an outright thrill to see psychedelic rock band Tame Impala listed as the headline act for both Saturday nights. We were instant fans of Tame Impala from the moment we heard 'Elephant' from their second Album 'Lonerism'.
Billie Eilish, the girl from Highland Park, is another performer to watch out for. She is sure to attract a lot of attention as she pushes her version of melodic pop to places it was never meant to go. But enough about pop, we are here to talk about indie rock and the must see bands. Starting at the top of our list is Turnstile. If you missed them at Camp Flog Gnaw at Dodgers Stadium in November then this is your moment.
Taking it down a notch is Iceage. Their sound is what you would expect if Nick Cave and The Panics had a love child. We say that in a very positive way as we are very big fans of Nick Cave and The Panics.
Soccer Mommy is an artist that breaches the gap between indie pop and indie rock. An artist worth putting on your Coachella 2019 list.
Cherry Glazerr are touring North America and Europe to support 'Stuffed and Ready'. Tickets and dates are available on the band's website.

Finally, our last band that you do not want to miss is Razorbumps.
