Joey Jordison
It is sad news to hear that Joey Jordison, founding member of Slipknot has died at the age of 46. Joey is best remembered as the drummer that played it harder and faster. The former Slipknot drummer was a powerhouse on stage.
Joey suffered from a degenerative neurological disease that impacted his ability to play the drums the he loved. He said in an interview that he wouldn't have wished it on his worst enemy. In addition to Slipknot, Joey was a guitarist for Murderdolls.
Joey leaves a musical legacy for the world to enjoy. A fitting tribute was the statement released by Slipknot which simply said without Joey there would be no us.
