Primavera Sound 2022

It is a rare moment when one day of a three day festival really gets me excited. The Saturday line-up for the Primavera Sound 2022 in Los Angles is one such occasion. Nine Inch Nails are set to headline the September 17th show. Don't get me wrong there are great headliners and acts on the other night bill but I can't go past Nine Inch Nails.

This might sound a little bit obsessive but we once took a stroll by Nine Inch Nail's Trent Reznor's house in the American Quarter in New Orleans just to see where he lived at the time. It was down the road from the house of Anne Rice the author of 'Interview with a Vampire'. I know he now lives in Los Angeles and I can assure you that I  have no interest in looking at where he lives. After all it is LA and there are a lot of nutters in this city. That would be really creepy but, hey, don't judge. Afterall, Nine Inch Nails have built a career on being out there.

The other artist I am really excited to see on the Saturday line up is Tierra Whack. She is an act that is going from strength to strength. 'Wack World' really got the party started and I  just can't get enough of 'Heaven'.  It is haunting.

Just when it couldn't get any better I noticed that Low is also in the mix.

And then Kim Gordon's name jumps out at you - festival heaven!  She is indie rock royalty. I love Sonic Youth and the stuff she has done since the band's spilt.

If you are looking for something to do on September 17th 2022 and you are in LA, the Primavera Sound festival is not a bad option. One day tickets are currently on sale.
