Doomriders
Doomriders are a metal band from Boston. They have released three albums as well as a whole bunch of EPs and spilt albums. Most of their releases have been with the Deathwish label which was incidently foundered by Converge's Jacob Bannon whose band pioneered Metalcore. 'Black Thunder' was the Doomriders first album and it is a banger. On a side note, Jebb Riley, the band's bassist did the album's art work.
'Darkness Come Alive' was the band's second album and it is sludge metal heaven. I would love to say this album took the world by storm but sadly it didn't. What it did do is showcase the raw talent of this band and their ability to produce songs that tap into your soul.
Another great song from that album is the single with the same name 'Come Alive'. It starts off slow but really picks up speed.
It is fair to say that Doomriders are not big on videos but they do have a live performance in Berlin that you can check out.
